I have created this Blog to introduce myself & what I do.  I am based in Navan Co Meath.  My hobby, for the past 30 years, has been renovating furniture. I fit this in between my normal day job, and family commitments, so at times I can go months without furniture, and just pine to get back to it…. 😉

When I do, I really look forward to getting creative.   I will attach some ‘before and after’ shots later.  Although, at times I forget when onsite to take the before shots, I’m usually half way through the undercoat before i think of the camera 😀

In the last few years I have also created decorative wooden Keepsake Boxes. Namely: New Baby,   first communion, wedding day, to name a few.  They have proven to be very popular.

I love to keep busy and get great satisfaction from my work. But, I did have to pull back,   so these days I have cut down on my day job giving me more time to fit my hobbies in.  I will soon be looking for more furniture to restore, paint or varnish.

Meanwhile you can a think about the tired & dated furniture in your house. Perhaps you might want to get some furniture updated or restored. Even a fireplace surround with a new colour can make a world of difference to your room… let me know
